AFRICA AT THE CROSSROADS

Another in the Westminster series on Christian perspectives on Social Problems. This one is devoted to the very timely problems posed to the American Churches and the American government by the emerging nations of Africa. Dr. Jas. H. Robinson, now executive director of the missionary and welfare project ""Operation Crossroads Africa"" makes an urgent plea for the understanding involvement of the rest of the world, especially America and the European nations formerly in control on the African continent. There are many constructive and creative ways in which individuals and groups may relate themselves to the Africans in their struggle, he writes, and especially to the Christian Churches and African youth. They need guidance and leadership which is Christianly motivated, such as Dr. Robinson in his ""Operation Crossroads"" has long been offering. Church discussion groups will find this volume both provocative and stimulating. Dr. Robinson is also Consultant on African affairs for the United Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.
