A compilation of pieces on the assassination of JFK and the Warren Report lets the weight of the evidence fall where it may. Familiar names abound: Wicker and Epstein, Lane, Weisberg (Whitewash). Trevor-Roper on ""the slovenly Warren Report,"" Weisberg on the doctors and the autopsy, Lane on the grassy knoll, Cook on some unanswered questions, Popkin on the Tippit affair, Fox on conspiracy, Nash on ""other witnesses."" Besides the critics, there are the critics of the critics, gathered together for the first time: Roberts, Knebel, Lewis and Schiller. The only new speculative material comes from Jacob Cohen, about to be published in book form, on ""the vital documents""--he theorizes that bureaucracy and the Kennedys managed to keep them out of public scrutiny.
