KIRKUS REVIEW

When Joe Sayers got out of Navy Aviation with the customary jitters, nobody thought he'd wind up playing cops and robbers, getting involved with an opium smuggling gang, and ditching a steady society dame for a sweet little Mexican number- but he did- and right well he did too. A style that tries to be smutty and smart, but ends up by just being trying.
