EAGLE JAKE AND INDIAN PETE by Jay Williams

EAGLE JAKE AND INDIAN PETE

By

Pub Date: April 24th, 1947
Publisher: Rinehart

A vapid little number about an Indian who hunted an eagle and an eagle who hunted an Indian, through the years. Then the Indian lost his feathers and the eagle found them; the enemies met and learned to appreciate each other. Coy adult humor and zany illustrations with the details children like may combine to give the book an impetus it really doesn't deserve. Small format; pictures by John Burton Brimer in flat color, perishable paper and board binding.
