GLICENSTEIN SCULPTURES

An outsize art book which is introduced by M. Cassou, Curator in Chief of the Museum of Modern Art, Paris. The introduction, in French, is an artistic appraisal of the sculptor and his work, and offers an acquaintance with the qualities of Glicenstein's genius. The large, photographic reproductions of the sculptures give the feeling of bloc, simplicity, of the elemental, stressed by Cassou. Six American exhibitions, since 1928, should give an impetus for this in all art departments.
