MISS TESSIE TATE

Miss Tessie Tate rhymes with skate, and that's what starts this slapstick cartoon rolling. While her neighbors are working (and while they are sleeping), this funny old lady does figure eights and one-foot-stands. The women think she is crazy until she proves to be the most efficient castle-cleaner of the lot; then the king rewards her and others imi-Tate. Featherweight.
