Ponsonby, Shakespearean professor and writer of mystery stories, constitutes himself the bloodhound boy when suicide is the verdict for the death of one of the psychology department professors. Tracing murder, he finds blackmail and Nazi controls, collects plenty of facts about the University professors involved, but is unable to correlate his material. FBI and a quotation from Shakespeare break his case -- and he lets the killer go free. Amusing moments for an entertaining sleuth.
