SCUTTLE: The Stowaway Mouse

The baroque ballad of a househunting mouse who boards a pirate boat unbeknownst (what those pirates are doing in a respectable port we'll never know) and, during a fray, makes off with enough gold to set himself up for the future, even to purchase a ship to take the other mice cruising. Without inner logic or outer order (see, for instance, the harbor filled with stupendous, superfluous sea monsters), this is simply crude and capricious.
