KIRKUS REVIEW

Joe Florio, a bartender, follows Cynthia, the daughter of the man he accidentally kills to New York. Cynthia is skittishly exasperating, gives him a package to deliver which he hides in a freezer, and he later becomes involved in a family fracas over the rights of ownership to a diamond necklace which have led to most of the wrongs here.... Miss Potts has adherents--and those who borrow on her good name will find, not trash, but trivia.
