KIRKUS REVIEW

As soon as Jimmy opened his eyes in the morning he knew everything was going to be wrong."" And so when a series of small frustrations confirms his fears, he packs his teddy bear and his new red jacket and goes looking for another home. Just as his mother predicts, everyone on the block either has enough kids or doesn't want any--and so at the end of a long day he's taken in (""I've always wanted a little boy just like you"") by ""his very own mother and his very own father."" Myers' bare two-color drawings echo both the tepid glow and the thinness of the story.
