This should have a double market- for adults, comparatively few of whom know what happens behind the mystery of television, for teen-agers (reported in that section). Jeanne Bendick's breezy style and easy line drawings are coupled with her television engineer husband's know-how and the result is a book that answers the questions on how programs originate, what the engineers and directors do, how programs are picked up and transmitted, and that gives a peek into the future of television. Too bad that the technical explanations are not really clear for anyone who doesn't know the terms, and that the glossary leaves much to be desired.
