WHAT ABOUT TEENAGE MARRTAGE

The whole subject of teenage marriage is thoroughly explored with facts derived from examples of such alliances, some successful, most loaded with more problems than bargained for. Here are all the reasons teenagers enter hasty marriages including illusions about the future and/or one's mate and pinning dreams on an inappropriate solution to emotional conflict. Each pitfall is examined with an eye toward imposing reality on this extremely sober move. Frank practical clarification follows on sex, and general preparation for a healthy marriage. There are many reports representing both sides of the question, but apparently the evidence is weighted against the success of teenage marriage. Young girls contemplating it would do well to consider the many questions posed here, and though they may be discouraged, they are sure to be enlightened.
