JOLLY JOKES AND JINGLES

Venerable quips and cranks from the corn belt, most of the ""snappy retort"" variety, incomprehensible to adults but fuel for the sparkling junior personality. Short jokes attributed to celebrities or anonymous heroes like Pat and Mike or Hetty and Letty, rhymes, and limericks. Again the two-color cartoons -- a deviation would be welcome! However, this runs to standard Hart in format and material.
