Wilson and Wade of Scotland Yard are confronted with the murder of a philandering wife, and trail her vanished husband with bloodhound accuracy. Lonely, shy, he's off on a cycling trip which proves fatal, but helps solve the first murder. Smooth job, but rabbit out of the hat ending unfairs the whole thing.
