THE BURDEN OF PROOF

Roger Ventnor is increasingly incriminated, to the point of arrest, in the death of a girl by an abortifacient he is said to have procured for her. The search for the artist responsible for her condition is fruitless, and although the burden of proof which ""rests on the prosecution"" is insubstantial and Roger is cleared, it is too late with too little to salvage his future... Again- The D.I. and Counsel for the Defense- expert, exciting handling of official procedures and personal repercussions.
