DEATH IN WAITING

Any one of at least four of London concert pianist Andrea's solicitous Scots neighbors might have murdered her attractive mother Maeve in their recently inherited cottage. Smashed phonograph records, twanged piano keys, scuttling animals and other bumps in the night are preludes to more strenuous attempts to eliminate Andrea. With such agreeable people you won't mind waiting for the account of what turns out to be murder number four.
