Though Tommy daydreams about pitching for the Yankees (""Watch this one, Yogi""), his dad grooms him to play left field for the Mighty Midgets and he makes the team. But despite some good hits he messes up in left field because he's mentally criticizing his team's pitchers instead of watching the ball. What turns him round? An imagined pep talk from Yogi himself, just after Tommy's daydreaming has lost the Midgets a game. The result? A whiz at left field and tumultous applause from his victorious teammates. Thin to the vanishing point--let it go by.
