KIRKUS REVIEW

A juvenile -- I wonder! Sell it with tongue in cheek a bit, for it is a very modern parable, which children may enjoy for the pictures and the story of the ostrich who didn't like noise and stuck his head in the sand, and of how he learned that he had to shout louder than the other noisy ostrich, if he would protect his own rights. But the adult interpretation is the one the author must want.
