KIRKUS REVIEW

Danny rescues a bird with a broken wing, and with the help of Dr. Woolf, the veterinarian, the bird recovers. How the bird is finally sent South to join the other birds makes an amusing climax. The glimpses of a veterinarian at work should appeal to the more factually minded of the second year readers in spite of the rather lifeless illustrations in red and green and black and white. Large type and cloth binding.
