For all who want to express themselves effectively and interestingly whether in or in private conversation this book has many helpful hints. It deals not alone the techniques of good speech but with such psychological factors as self-confidence, and poise. A good part of the book deals with the art of reading aloud, sections deal with conversation, extemporaneous speaking, selling, lecturing and . For all who have to speak (and who does not?) and for all who have to listen, to advice given in this book, if taken, would contribute much to the effective interchange of ideas. Preachers could profit by its thoughts on how to read the Bible aloud and how to use one's voice convincingly.
