KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a good idea, admirably carried out, and should serve as a springboard for receptive parents and teachers. A small boy disobeys instructions to stay near home, and is drawn by one thing and another down this road and that. Then, finding himself ""lost, he uses his observation at each crossroads, and finds that he can find his way home. The importance of self reliance- at an early age. The Beth Wilson pictures are a bit on the calendar chromo style, but make a gay picture story book.
