The Lynd Ward illustrations in two colors will unquestionably enhance the sales appeal of what might otherwise seem a rather difficult to place collection of Bible passages interpreting the Word of God the lives of man. From Genesis to Revelation, Jessie Orton Jones has made careful selection of inspired text, supplementing this with transition paragraphs linking them into a larger pattern. Mrs. Jones' success in this field has won her many admirers, and the Chicago area, where she is best known, is a particularly important market for this book. Subsequent comment on finished book.
