Fun-filled, perhaps, but not so fabulous. The options are either familiar and mediocre or inventive but not very attractive. There's a baker's clay valentine, a Chinese lantern, an exotic paper demon mask, a pinata pig, some pressed-flower gift wrap--good enough but not special. Many are grade-school holdovers--butterflies of framed colored cellophane, a stenciled T-shirt, hand-painted Easter eggs. Several of the projects involve food, and these are almost all unappealing, especially the Christmas tree of shrimp and sliced green olives. Kids may like the lolli-bugs, but the candy is too hot for them to handle--they can only assemble the finished pieces. A sticky cornucopia.
