TRIAL BY GUNSMOKE

Manton, on the dodge from the law in Laramie but unjustly charged, gets work at Breadon's Circle B, discovers there is a ruthless rustling combine at work trying to crowd out all competition. Manton becomes deputy sheriff, leads the ranchers to victory. Two girls fight to the finish over him, and he decides he must face the charge in Laramie before he can marry Myra Breadon, then finds he doesn't have to go back. Better writing than average, more focus on the feminino, but still cowboy carbon.
