GIDEON'S VOTE

Gideon and the Yard wait, watch and act during an election campaign when crisis could become chaos. The whole spectrum of political beliefs is represented in the election plus the added ingredient of the volatile Ban-the-Bomb campaigners. The presence of an activist lunatic fringe among this last group brings the possibility of a demonstration explosion of a size never dreamed of by Guy Fawkes. The detailed revelation of police method that first won and then held the Gideon audience is still in evidence. Police and politics equal an excellent combination.
