POGO'S SKY RIDE: A Story of Airplanes

In view of the avidity with which anything about airplanes is grabbed by six and up -- and the singular lack of good story content in these books for beginning readers, this new Pogo story is sure to be popular, though the story is slight. Pogo is John's dog (remember two previous books dealing with the lumber industry and salmon fishing ?). This has good factual content --amazingly simple presentation of the theory and mechanical construction of planes, as John visits an airplane factory. But Pogo has to stowaway on a freight train to give John a chance at a plane ride.
