Not quite thorough enough to be sociology, not quite lively enough to be a travelogue, this view of youth abroad leaves much to be desired. Monographs of representative teen-agers from several European countries expose the subjects in various attitudes of delinquency and conformity. A survey is made of divergent approaches to the problems of contemporary youth, comparisons are made, and general solutions indicated. A bland, therapeutic draught, too weak to be effective.
