KIRKUS REVIEW

Old Mr. Ravensden returns to his old home in England to find his nephew, Silas, not too happily married to Sigtunda, and, when her father dies, suspiciously, earns her enmity by trying to prove her guilty. She retaliates by declaring him insane so that when she is killed he is in real trouble. But scandal about Sigtunda's past, and present, get him in the clear. Neat although not too clever.
