It was small Millicent's turn for a visit in the big old house where Aunt Agatha lived. Was it haunted? Or was it all in Millicent's imagination? Her brothers and sisters had been there before her- and they only gave hints. Here we have the kind of fears and little girl (or boy) might have- and they all prove groundless. The illustrations by Ben Shelter may suggest Hilary Knight, but haven't quite the freedom and humor that would offset the deliberately gloomy black and gray groundwork.
