KIRKUS REVIEW

The newest students will enjoy Olaf's crisis of nerves brought on by his first tardiness at school. The combined pressure of the rush to school and the embarrassment make him forget why he is late and his tongue runs away from his as he tosses out garbled reasons for what held him up. An understanding teacher unwinds the boy from a situation with which dawdlers and clock-racers will identify.
