ANY WIFE OR ANY HUSBAND

An assuring approach to sexual disorders- in marriage- their origins and the disturbances they may cause, which is directed toward those who have met with difficulties as well as doctors, marriage counsellors, etc. Dr. Mallesen, an Englishwoman, writes about psychiatric disproportion but believes that most conditions have a nervous- or emotional- origin in childhood. Touching upon the attitudes of parent versus child, the range of sexual capacity, she goes on to outline the common disorders and deviations in men and women, the adaptations which can be made and the types of therapy which can help.... The point of view here, which does not confine the success of the marital relationship to the possible limitations of the physical phase, should be of appreciable value to those for whom the book is intended.
