KIRKUS REVIEW

This pleasant little book is a real advocate for better inter-racial relationships. Bobo is a small Chinese boy who desperately wants to play baseball with the other boys in the neighborhood. Rebuffed at first, he, in turn, rejects the overtures of Janey, a pigtailed miss whose only friend is her little dog, Rusty. With the help of Bobo's mother, they practice baseball. Then through curiosity aroused by Bobo's new dragon-kite, the enmity of the local boys vanishes.
