KIRKUS REVIEW

A Pony For Jean was published by Scribner. This has much the same quality, though, perhaps, more actual story and less facts about care of ponies, and so on. Tony and John have an awakening when they go to the Highlands to visit their unknown cousins, and find out, in painful manner, that they have a lot to learn. The adventures are a bit on the far-fetched side but they make good reading, and Anne Bullen's crayon sketches are exactly as they should be for the book.
