EVERY BODY'S READY TO DIE

Young Wylie Harris, a painter, goes to a MacDowell type colony, The Retreat, which is anything but restful. There's a good deal of drinking; then there's a sculptress Suzy with distracting perfect proportions; and finally the murders of two artists in residence. The investigation of the case is somewhat casual but it's neither too in nor too far out so that almost anyone will find it agreeable in tone if only moderate in interest.
