CATCHER'S CHOICE

One time big-leaguer, Al Trainor could not understand Harry Mucheson's consistent refusal to encourage his son Eddie to develop his potential as a ball player. Al couldn't know that Harry feared that ensuing publicity might expose his own prison term for theft some twenty years earlier. But for Eddie the showdown decision came when he met and fell in love with an ambitious actress, Dawn -- who wasn't interested in minor leaguers. Eddie chose the big time with his father's final approval. A believable baseball yarn, this has suspense and romance and enough diamond footwork to please most of Joe Archibald's fans. It moves with character development and crises unfolding credibly.
