SALT-WATER GAME FISHING

Joe Brooks (""Wide World of Sports,"" ABC-TV) has fished many waters about the globe, here shares his experience. He first discusses tackle and technique, their evolution and that of the salt-water game. Out on the blue, Atlantic and Pacific, he deals with thirty-odd species from black and blue marlin to bluefish and Bermuda chub; tackles dolphin, sailfish, tuna, wahoo, shark, snapper, bass, bonefish. He once took a 148 pound tar with a twelve pound test line, leans to sporting light-weight tackle. Amid and underlying anecdote are the pointers, particularly as regards the habits of the prey. These plus the fun of fishing with an expert, will hook the novice/angler.
