#5 of Poyer's internationally-based tracers in which Cole Brogan, of Narcotics Control, realizes that petal-less (and thus unidentifiable by satellite) poppies will open up a new heroin network particularly after their chemical conversion in Ireland. Except for what is posthumously revealed about Brogan's girl, the book is essentially a chase which travels with a staggering velocity without ever divagating from the middle of the road -- perhaps the most original feat here.
