Charlie is a pretty dumb dolphin. I mean, even if he can read, speak the King's English and has a pretty solid grasp of political ethics and philosophy. And he's only been working with abstract concepts for a year. But what self-respecting mammal would volunteer for a suicide mission just because he wants a plane ride? Or even for the sake of his biped buddy Dr. Mortimer Keilty. But old Charlie, dodo dolphin goes along, finds a thermonuclear bomb and helps destroy a sneaky sub loaded with W.W. II missiles. Only after that does he do some porpoiseful thinking about man vs. mammal race relations etc. And he swims off to organize....But one wonders if the folks back home will listen, particularly since Charlie has picked up some interesting humanese: ""What's up doc""... ""Who are these cats?"" Maybe he can get that other Charlie, ""Chicken of the Sea"" Tuna, to translate.
