EDIE CHANGES HER MIND

Edie, a hyperactive little girl, was always loudly unwilling to go to bed until the night her parents called her bluff. She was given permission to stay up all night and, for good measure, her bed was taken down. She found the hours long, lonesome and boring. Next day her disposition was so bad she got annoyed with herself. Paul Galdone has provided a leggy, cheeky bundle of energy in Edie for a pleasantly pointed story in which beginning readers and listeners will find themselves.
