One can count on beauty of format from Holiday House, particularly when LeRoy Baldridge has a hand in it. And this story of the country many of us know as Persia is an interesting attempt (not wholly successful) to teach a lesson in the breaking down of religious and racial barriers through the children. There is not as much of the life and customs as one hopes for.
