KIRKUS REVIEW

About a year ago articles by John Alden Knight appeared in magazines advancing the theory now known as the Solunar theory, i.e. that certain conditions (Solunar periods) produced better fishing. Many anglers have adopted this thesis and made interesting tests. The author has a chart of these periods which has had a wide distribution. The rest of the book is devoted to angling in all its forms, methods, files, rods, and reels and all kinds of information including much fascinating material on trout and bass and filled with good fish stories.
