The word is out that Pat Dawlish, the World's Greatest Policeman, is dead, done in by the Farenza (a bigger and more deadly Mafia). He's not of course, but while Pat lies in a coma, his wife Felicity becomes the latest mob target. Pat's associates rescue Felicity in the nick of, capture a female agent in love with Dawlish, and anticipate an international heist. Dull dull dull.
