SCIENCE YEAR BOOK OF 1942

I found this a fascinating collection of articles on the wonders of modern science, touching many phases of life. There's the Klystron beam which should revolutionize flying, there are new applications of the Electric Eye; there's the harnessing of lighting (did you know it was a fertilizer?); there are medical developments, developments in nutrition, in surgery, in the use of sulfanilamide. There are nerve looks (the clinical application of discoveries about vitamins); there are findings about sterility, old age, heredity, there are developments in agriculture, in lighting, in radio, in food preservatives, in aviation. It all makes exciting reading.
