Action adventure rather than Al detection. Marlow on the hunt for dope-smugglers, takes in a lot of the Riviera coast, plenty of sluggings, liquor and eventually has to use his strong-arm methods to outsmart a wily Turk and his gang. It takes several attempts on his life, and the help of the police to smash the ring, but a fool-proof scheme lands his fish in the net.
