Mr. Boyd deals with high risk, far outrageous procedures (organ banks, etc.) and this time it's the story of Dorcey, who's in pharmaceuticals, who decides to use a kill-or-cure drug on his very retarded son, Marlon. Marlon develops stupendously well, without a brain tumor, into a supermentality of sorts. But all of this proliferates (his father's ulcer, his mother's crackup) beyond the maintenance of the original idea into bio-degradable nonsense.
