KIRKUS REVIEW

Dan Millard is the hero of John Brick's second story of Butler's Rangers and their unenvious role in frontier warfare during the Revolution. There is a convincing identification with the Loyalist side in this rounding out of a story of which only one side is commonly told and the adventure, political issues are perhaps better handled than Dan's incidental romance. Good supplementary reading.
