A modest, mild, and not too meaningful byplay in whimsy, this tells- in human terms- of the pigeon world, and of the experiences which were undergone by Hope Pigeon of Philadelphia, Tony Pigeon of New York, and their son Peter. Peter becomes the close friend of Samson, talking horse of cab driver McGarrity, McGarrity who is to face a nervous breakdown when his talking horse- and the sound of talking birds- cause him to doubt his sanity. Here are the events which fellow- as Peter interrupts his courtship of Emily to be seduced by the sultry Olga, is led by Olga to imprisonment by a pigecheer, escapes, and is resoued by Emily and his parents who through Samson gain a clew to his whereabouts... Maybe there are a few fanciers of this particular genus of animal parallel, but this, if light in touch, is also thin in accomplishment.
