KIRKUS REVIEW

Scrappy, a sleepy watchdog, has much in common with that peace-loving bull, Ferdinand. Only alert at meal times, his distraught master must not only guard his home, but watch his watchdog. Unperturbed by Scrappy's lethargy--after all, a dog's best friend is his man--his master finds a solution which is painless, at least, for the dozing Scrappy.
