THE SECRET LIFE OF HENRY FORD

Dahlinger, a quondam Detroit night-club owner, claims to be the illegitimate son of Henry Ford I. It was rumored, he says, and his ""vibrant"" mother, a longtime Ford employee and familiar, declined to deny it. Apparently he didn't think to put the question to ""father"" Ray Dahlinger, manager of the Ford Farms and personal aide-de-camp. All he knows, really, is that the elderly Ford took a great interest in him when he was a little boy: ""I saw more of him than his grandchildren did."" According to Dahlinger, he also looked more like him. Yup, Ford even ""had a wave in the same spot as I have, and he once commented on this to mother."" Other secrets divulged include Ford's penchant for day-old bread and his recipe for soybean milk.
