KIRKUS REVIEW

Roger West, of the Yard, goes after organized crime when the 17th successful department store robbery results in the murder of a night watchman. Linked by safe blowing with plastic gelignite, by the harassing of Sir Gerald Sarkey's chain of stores and by the tie in with a restaurant, West's attempts to block a killer's game begin to work out, he thwarts a kidnapping and smashes the gang. Pressurized.
